I made it back to work!!! Ok, so only a couple hours, yet the first I had been there since Monday morning. I like my job, I really do. Was able to stay for a while and did not push myself or guilt myself over being gone. My hair looks much better here, must be the lighting. Guess I will cut myself some slack from last night. (yet check out that great IV bruise...that was not planned to be in the photo) I seem to look like I feel better. Yah, it has been a good day. Even with the continuing saga of things, emotionally/mentally, I just felt better. This is good since I got all frustrated and nasty with myself after going into the doc's office this morning. I slept good last night, better than I have all week. I believe that helped too. And, I did not get sick today, therefore I have color. I didn't get to catch up with Tami yet I did have session with Chris and it helps a lot to have that time to talk...just talk about how my mind is looking at things. I am going to say today was...

The day went something like this...... Woke up with the tire flat on the front passenger side. Fill with fix a flat and air. Pray I can make it to Farm and Fleet to get at least 2 new tires. On way to F/F the front drivers tire starts losing air. 1/2 mile before off ramp, it goes flat. With some gentle coaxing and 3-5 miles per hour, I make it. In the end, 4 new tires. And they even put the beat up hubcap back on. An alignment and it will be ready to go.     Some more throwing up, dizziness, mixed with a lot of "I'm so over this" negative thoughts, I was back in the ER again. Ok, so those negative thoughts may have been a "little more" than just numbers on the desire scale, the number on the intent scale was quickly moving upwards as well. All is ok. Did not get more answers, yet in the end, this trip was probably more to keep me emotionally safe than anything else. One of these days I will be able to say how in trouble I am to someone directly. Well, wait, I th...

It's ok everyone, I have a babysitter today. Tess is keeping a close eye on me and even got me to take off her collar for a super good neck rub. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. A good snuggle buddy though. And speaking of that, it is time for another nap. She isn't complaining.

I was attacked by vampires!!!!! Hey, you are doing a photo a day, you have to look for out of the ordinary sometimes. Yup, that is my blood and yup, it is red. No green alien blood so far. And, at least about 99% of it, is good and healthy. Maybe I should have taken a picture of all the vials they took later in the day while in the ER. Yup, all those pokes have left quite a bruise.

Icky stomach and hungry? Hot chocolate works. And if you have hot chocolate, you have to have marshmallows....real ones, not the dehydrated ones that come in the packet with the chocolate. I actually like this photo, it came out kinda nice with the unplanned composition!

In Danville, you will caught by a train more than you won't. For a time when an underpass was being fixed, there was not a way to get from one end of town to the other without getting stuck by a train. Coming home from church today was no exception. Trains are really neat. When I was a youth, we had the coolest train set-up. Where I lived at the time had a 4-car garage, a quarter of which had been finished to house the square dance shop my mom and stepfather ran. After the shop closed, we got it to set up our train. On top of two 4x8 sheets of plywood (so that would be...4x16) we had an amazing layout. Tracks everywhere (kind of like Danville), an air force base, town, woods and parks, and more. We had the house kits, accessories, and of course, the trains. I remember we wanted a lake that looked kind of realistic, so we took a small round mirror and painted it with glue mixed with blue food coloring. It came out awesome. At one point we had up to 3 separately controlled trains tha...
